[nagdu] dogs with transportation

I had to use that trick last year when a flight attendant told me that
she had to put the dog's harness up in the storage area so it didn't
fly out and hit someone. I said that the harness wouldn't fly up since
it was between the wall of the plane and my seat, but the flight
attendant insisted. she then said that it said so in their manual.
Having read the Southwest policy for folk with service animals a few
months prior, I said, "Ok, why don't you pull out those regulations
and let's take a look at them." Without missing a beat, she said,
"Well, if you put the harness under your seat then that would be all
right." To which I agreed. When I asked her to pull out the
regulations I was speking calmly, but the friend that was with me said
that my posture was ever so slightly forward. She told me later that
she knew I meant business and was perfectly willing to let me handle
it. Friends are great, :)
