Yay! I am so, soo happy for you. Keep us posted! With all of your hard
work to regain fitness and with not having to deal with the stress to your
back of transportation to one or the other of the campuses (I know how long
bus trips are in these parts!), you should do great.

Best wishes!

Subject: [nagdu] approval!

Hello to Listers.
For those that are neww and don't know my history I will give a little
background.
Because of multiple life threatening health events since 2001 I have failed
twice in being able to enter training for what would have been my third
guide dog.
I was able to get to both campuses of GDB in California and Oregon, but
didn't have what it took strength wise to go through training.
Home training I learned about on this list serve a long time ago, and
decided after a marked improvement in my issues to apply for home training
with GDB again.
Today, at 4 P.M. I received a call from Lorie head of admissions saying was
accepted for home training.
My last dog K-Bear I had for 13 yearsss from GDB.
The school will now start looking for a dog for me.
I did ask for a Yellow Lab if possible, because my other two dogs were
Yellows as well.
I hope I can stand up to the training?
I think I can, I have improved a great deal, but I have thought that before.
This says a lot I think for GDB.
