Jeff,
When I had a pet, I taught him two commands, "go get it" and "bring, bring
it". I didn't know about ;using food rewards. I just used lots of praise
and physical affection. Yes, it takes time. By the way, I taught my guide
dog to, "give me five". I think I'll work on, "roll over".
