Hello, I have not heard about a press reliece before now. I would also like to know more about it. I also think, if they would be welcome, The Lone Star Puppy Raisers would want more info too. Texas is starting to have many more dog handlers from several different and that's great. Thanks, Holly McKnight and Pollyann

> I've only done one long (7.5 km) hike with bogart in the mountains. It was a hike that took us around 5 lakes. i used a trekking pole in my right hand which was a good idea. susan was with me and wasn't always 100% confident that bogart would account for the drop offs on my right when he is guiding. Now these are realtively challenging hikes. On flatter paths i would trust him without anything. I like using the trekking poels for balance too. when i hike without bogart in harness I use two trekking poles. one like a cane and the other in my left hand for balance. they both offer information gathering potentials though.

> We both take buses or the transit van if the weather is bad. The dog will occasionally miss a sidewalk and I can usually figure that out. They would prefer we take partransit all of the time but that isn't always convenient. We spoke at a staff meeting yesterday and I think it could be productive but one individual wants to get involved in everything about the dogs including what we do with them on our own time and that is what is driving me crazy. She seems to think that anything from walking to relieving is fair game and I don't agree at all. If the dongs don't affect our work after we clock in I don't believe it is anyone's business.
