I don't think that is so uncommon. I have had all my dogs do that. You have to find a variety of routes to take to keep up the excitement, and I'm not clear on how well this works because there are routes I would rather not take and which I don't feel as safe taking. Besides, I simply don't have enough time to do that. Fisher is abominally slow downtown when we are taking our route to work unless he sees a dog. I can't say which I prefer, but my life is less endangered if he doesn't see the dog. I hope someone has some good ideas because I could use help with this as well.
