Bibi and Jessica,

Guide Dogs of the Desert also does crosses. They also offer at least
some home training as far north as Portland. They are small enough that
they don't pay transportation to and from the school, which is why I
never met anybody with a dog from there until I started getting involved
more with the local crowd. Turns out you can't swing a cat around here
without hitting one of their dogs. The handerlers are all very, very
happy with the dogs, the trainer and the program, that's for sure. The
poodles and doodles in that group from GDD outnumber the lab and
shepherd. /lol/

The waiting list for pure poodles is still pretty long I guess, about a
year unless you get lucky. I don't know if it's shorter at all for doodles.
