Well, Shannon, here's the deal. There is this mythology about these dogs that puts them on the same level as a saint. If Old Yeller does that, well, heck, he's just a dog. But God help you if your service dog does that because he's a service dog, well trained, and will never do that. That's probably why some of the animal rights folks don't even want us using service dogs because we break their spirit and take the "dog" out of them. Well, it's a myth. But that kind of ignorance is rampant. And the minute they do that they aren't very good as a service dog even if your pet did that and didn't get any judgment against it.
