Subject: Re: [nagdu] Fake Service Dogs

Honestly, if the bread was unwrapped, wasn't it already damaged goods? And I know this isn't the point. It seems the burden of proof is always on us, especially because laws tell us we have to leave if the dog is doing damage. I was told I had to leave a park in Atlanta because I didn't have control of my dog. Well, he had been over stimulated in that situation, a happy dog came along, and he has a propensity to be enthusiastic about dogs and pulled away. I got him back quickly, and by the time I was told I had to leave because I didn't have control of my dog, I did. It was marginal though because he was totally lathered up. I would say that is borderline. As for the situation of a store, etc., the dog sniffed and you did not know what. You had a handle on her and corrected her, that was just one of those things like knocking a glass off a shelf. Things happen. I think that sometimes people are going to be unreasonable; sometimes they will use sense.
