Hi William, Dogs can't tell you when they are ill. My dog is very quiet and will stand and stare at the door when she wants' to go out. You just have to check on her every few hours. If you ask her if she wants to go out does she get up? When I tell my dogs outside they jump up and go to the door. I hope she feels better soon and its nothing serious. Marilyn and Anna
