[nagdu] Quick Question

Will,

I hope your pup feels better soon! Mitzi has been through a couple of
bouts of tummy trouble by now, and I find that she has figured out how
to let me know she needs to go out in a hurry... If she has time. Ugh!
She's mature enough now that I think she's been through all the random
kid stuff, so I am fine with not having to worry about it very often if
at all. Whew!

As far as I can tell, she figured out to alert me when she needed to go
out by observing my general grim demeanor and irritability when I had
something icky to clean up... Like you, I didn't see that scolding would
be appropriate under the circumstances, but.. Ewwww!

So when she started poking me to go out fast, I praised her while taking
her out fast! So that's what she does now, although we have a back yard
these days and can just step out doors on a regular basis while I take a
break from the computer.

I do not know if any of that is in any way helpful, but I thought I'd
tell you just in case. /smile/

Best,

Tami
