Hi, Lynn,
I have a raincoat for Odie which has like a rubber plasticky feeling on the 
outtside and a canvas like material feeling on the inside.
The hood on it doesn't slip past Odie's eyes and he's still able to see.
I found mine at Petsmart five years ago and it is an extra large for $10.00.
I now think I should have gotten the XXL one more because of Odie being a 
large boy.
I'm sure if you type in dog raincoats in your search engine, there will be 
plenty of places where you'd be able to find them.
