Oh, OK, I wondered if Gentle Leader was one of those. I had a sense that was true.

Yes, she was talking about a dog that didn't want to be in the car except on the floor board but--and this is a paraphrase--it wouldn't be on the seat and they were trying to get it to do that. Maybe I misinterpreted something she said, but encouraging the dog to get on the seat isn't really going to be popular with many folks. On the other hand, a lot of folks don't mind.
