The paperwork thing was a negative for me as well, and her saying that it would make it easier for them to do some "stuff" if they are co-owners. Of course implication was that they could easily terminate your part of the ownership if they thought you were being abusive. Would a video be enough for them to determine if you had good enough skills to acquire one of their dogs?
