Hi Janice,
I'm sorry to hear Destiny has an earache.  Those infections are not fun. 
What I do with Liam is get him on his side and put the med in, followed by a 
treat.  I talk to him in a quiet voice and tell him about what a good boy he 
is.  Hope that helps.
