I'm Julie, one of the moderators.  I'm working with Monty my owner 
trained lab and Boxer mix.

I'm sorry I have no idea why they would take your cane and have you walk 
about without either cane or dog.  Honestly it concerns me.  I'm hoping 
there was a miscommunication somewhere.
