[nagdu] Canes With Dogs

I also have used a cane and a dog at once, but when I do, it is rare.  I 
mostly use the cane if I feel that I have to backtrack to find my missed 
land marks, or when I am shorlining when looking for a certain entrance or 
driveway.

I have used a cane with the dog to keep track of the side of a country road 
or to find poles, but I actually rarely use one.
