In case there are folks not yet on the NYAGDU list or who somehow miss the agenda on the Nyagdu list and for anyone's interest, here is the agenda for our NYAGDU 
Division meeting Saturday September 17, 2011.  

Here's the agenda for our Nyagdu meeting next Saturday:

What:  NYAGDU Division meeting, NFB NY State Convention
Where:  Hotel Restaurant:  tell servers you wish to meet with the Guide dog users group.
when:  Saturday, September 17, 2011.   The meeting starts at 7 p.m. but please arrive a little earlier in order to get your food.  thanks.  the meeting will end sometime between 8:00 and 8:30.

1.  Welcome and introductions

2.  Legislative and Accessibility Actions To Do during the 2011-2012 year
a.  Revamping the state Guide Dog Accessibility Law
b.  Visit to Syracuse Zoo and coordinating that with other zoo visits throughout the nation.

3.  First Responders and the Guide dog Handler:  Julie Phillipson.

4.  Working with Traffic officials:  Joyce Carrico

5.  Presentation by Mr. Dell Rodman, field Rep, Guiding Eyes for the Blind

6.  Traveling with your Guide dog on a Cruise:  cheryl Echevarria

7.  Approval of Minutes from 2010 NYAGDU Meeting

8.  treasurer's Report

9.  Paying of Dues--$10 per year.

10.  election of Officers:  president, vice president, Secretary.    the current officers are:  margo Downey, president; Joyce Carrico, vice president; and Julie Phillipson, Secretary-Treasurer.
