[nagdu] some advice

Chantel,
I would have your friend and the grandkids - how old are the kids - be
present when you have a home visit by the guide dog school. That way they
can learn first hand what a guide dog is and the behavior expected from it.
If they still refuse, then find another place to live before you get the
dog. You are living in their home and you need to respect that.

If they don't want a dog in their house, then make sure you move to your own
place and learn the area first. That way, you can teach the dog your area
when you get home.

Hope some education will get rid of their fears of having a dog present and
you can stay there and get the guide dog.

Good luck!

Lyn and Landon
