Steve,

That's right! I forgot about the importance of specific commands and
reinforcing them. Especially with a young poodle! /lol/ 

So, "Good *quiet*!" Good *go behind me*! Etc. And with door barking,
too, figuring out how to make the alternative behavior you actually want
more rewarding than barking at the door. /lol/ So, lots and lots of
patience and creativity. Barking at the door, is, after all, about as
fun as it gets! /grin/
