Hi, Sheila,
I think it depends on the trainer you have during training class.
When I trained with Freedom David Berry, lots wasn't implemented during 
training.
When I had Mike Tessmer, he definitely encouraged me to use "find" for many 
objects.
As soon as I told Odie to find a seat, he'd immediately place his head on it 
and then it would be up to me to check and see that he did locate it.
