[nagdu] Travel adventure, Long Rest and Backwards Walking

Hi, all,
Odie and I hung out with Nat and Liam for a while as she needed to do a few errands first.
We then went to eat out at Good Times and the fun began afterwards.
My husband, Dale met us on the route52 bus and we deboarded off the bus at 20th and Chestnut.
We had a rather interesting time of finding the Amtraak Customer Service Office to go take care of mine and Nat's first trip for the train ride to Reno, Nevada.
On the way back, the travel adventure became more rougher as there was a huge apartment complex we had to walk around and construction was happening too.
There were some light rail tracks being installed not too far from where the place we were at.
While dealing with the construction zone, Odie stopped at one point so I could check to see where we were briefly.
Once Dale reassured me of what was going on, Odie and I went on our way.
Next part up in the construction wite was we would have to cross over an island in the middle of the street.
Around the corner before the island though, Odie suddenly s stopped again, pushing me up against the curb, turning his body in front of me and giving me the indication to step up on to the curb in a dirt pile.
An RTD articular bus was fixing to slowly turn the corner to make a right hand turn.
I didn't blame Odie one bit for wanting to keep us both out of the way of the bus.
Eventually, we finally made it back to Sunset Park Apartments.
I ended up going with Natalie to help her get Liam's dog food and other things home to her home.
We left my apartment complex around 9:00 PM to slowly make our way to the bus stop near the Fire Station.
As Nat and I were sitting down on the bench, Odie suddenly reacted to the fire station.
I then heard the loud Public address speaker inside the department and said, "Uh Oh."
Odie sprang up off the ground and I immediately got up to turn around and face Nat's direction as I knew a fire truck was going to be shooting out of the garage of the fire department.
Once the bus pulled up which was the route38, all four of us got on.
I hung out at Nat's place for an hour, then left to go get the bus back home.
Yesterday, Dale, Odie and I ended up resting as all three of us were extremely tired.
Earlier this morning, the fire department and paramedics ended up coming to the building to take a resident to the hospital.
Odie wanted to go outtside as he obviously needed to go take care of business.
Once getting downstairs and outtside, I ended up having to side step and walk sideways with my back facing the fire truck and ambulance to avid having a seizure right on the spot.
After getting Odie's doggy trash off the ground and disposing it, I again walked backwards toward the gate.
Odie who was on my left side immediately switched to my right side and I changed his leash to my right hand.
I could tell he was looking at me in a weird way and thinking, "Mommy! What are you doing walking backwards like this?"
Upon entering back inside, I had to stop and rest for a few miuntes, along with waiting for the fire department and paramedics to exit from the elevator with their paitient on the roll away bed.
As for having to walk sieways or do backwards, I'd never do that when having to cross a busy street or near areas where there would be high activity going on.
