[nagdu] walking in to objects

Hannah,
I think using a regular dog trainer is a bad idea. They know NOTHING about
how a guide dog is trained to avoid obstacles. It could confuse the dog and
make things worse. You may need to either go to Pilot for some more work or
have Pilot take the dog and evaluate her to see if she truely is safe as a
guide. Also, I have heard of dogs doing this sort of thing just because
they don't want to do the work - they don't want to be a guide. Sometimes
this becomes clear to the trainers while they are still training the dog.
Sometimes, this happens after some time has gone by after going home with a
handler. It doesn't happen alot, but it does happen.

Lyn and Landon
