Julie,
This tactic works but make sure someelse places the obstacles without the 
dog seeing them do it.  It will be more authentic then.

Hey, all you Midwesterners, be safe with the tornadoes whirling about.  The 
second storm we had here on Friday in San Diego is on it's way east.
