John,
I do know of a dog treat that contains pumpkin. It is the Zukes Z-bone.
However, this will break the bank at around $3.00 a crack. I only give my
dog one once in a blue moon.
Pumpkin is good for the dog's cote, however, I've found other things that
work better for me, and my dog enjoys more. (My dog hates the taste of
pumpkin). I'm at work, so I don't have the name of it, but I have an
essential oils based dog cote conditioner. Combine that with high quality
dog food, and you have a very healthy shiny clean smelling dog.
That being said, pumpkin works wonders for anal gland issues, as well as
soft stule.
