        Yes, I'd agree with Nichole here. View tis as a really bad sign.
View this time as like a date. They should be putting their best foot forward so that you want to go to school thee.  If this s their best, I sure wouldn't want to see their worst.

That is not acceptable. I live in a regular dorm. No, I do not have a
roommate, but that works fine for other reasons, and, if I wanted one
instead of being in a single room, they would have done that.
Stepping away from guide dog related things, though, I wonder if this is a
sign of what is to come. If I were you, I would make sure that other parts
of the college are not giving to give you grief about this kind of stuff.
