Personally, if bowling is something you do on a regular basis, I'd keep
taking him, see if he gets used to the sounds. If it seems to always stress
him out, then by all means, he'll be okay being left at home while you enjoy
yourself. I honestly try to take my dog to as much of my life activities as
I can, if they don't react well once, we'll try again, if it's a bad scene
for her then I will leave her at home.

Subject: [nagdu] bowling alleys
Hey all,
I took Motley to a bowling alley one Saturday night and he was very afraid
of the balls coming up the lane.
He was able to lay down under a chair but he was still afraid of the balls
and noise. Should I go bowling on a day where there's less noise or should I
just leave him home? All I want is for him to experience all that I enjoy
doing, whether it's at Kings Island or Holly Lanes, the bowling alley I go
to.
