Rebecca,

I didn't know so much before I got my guide dog about the discrimination. Anyhow, I'm 100 percent sure that I'd get a dog in any case. I know that the problems exist and the guide dog owners in Sweden try to change the public opinion. When I got my dog I wasn't so movable, I've very good mobility and orientation skills but I don't like to go in shops and such. I take my daily walks and back then went to school where I was allowed to bring my dog. I left her in my teachers' room but I wish that it would be a matter of course that I should bring her to my lessons. I didn't take the fight then but I'll in the future. My dog gives me so much freedom, I'll never go back to the stick. Even if I am met with rejection by the public my dog gives the feeling of independence my soul needed to grow and be stronger. She gives me so much love and she's my joy! I hope to emigrate from Sweden in the future, not only because of the discrimination question but it's one of
 the reasons.

LeSholom,
Nadja from Sweden
