[nagdu] Guide Dogs and Pets

Hello Sharonda- 
I have always had family pets ever since I was a little girl. I received my
first guide when I was 16 years and I had both dogs and cats as family pets.
It was an adjustment period for everyone. However, if establish that you are
the boss and all pets must obey the rules that you set forth the animals
will figure out the pecking order amongst themselves.

I may not have read it all, but it seems like most folks had their guides
first, then got other dogs.  What abut the reverse? How did your pet dog
react to a guide who goes practically everywhere? This is a real concern of
mine and prevents me from getting a guide.

Usually, Dino was a very calm dog, but, when he saw the little rodent going
across the floor, he saw it as prey.  I've also known poodles to kill birds.
