I understand how iiritating  that can be. When I got my first dog, I thought that I was going crazy because I had such a hard time telling the parallel trafic because unknown to me Columbus Ohio at least in the downtown area has very wide sidewalks and the traffic seemed so far away and I thought it swas on a totally different street. I rerecommended that trainers let us totally blind folks know of things like really wide sidewalks because we might not pick up on them.
