[nagdu] Not eating

Mark,
though I am not a veterinarian, barring anything physically wrong with
your dog, he is, after all, a German Shepherd! Shepherds can be very finicky
when it comes to eating. One cause may be a little bit of separation
anxiety. I know you have had your dog for about a month or so, but the
change may now just be catching up with him. My previous dog was a
Collie/Shepherd cross and, when my wife and I were dating, she would come
over with her dog who would finish my dog's food. When we moved in together,
my dog learned very quickly that, if she didn't eat her food, one of the
other dogs would be happy to help her out. That stopped her finickiness.
My boy was a little finicky when I first got him, too. Again, the
competition of the other dogs quickly solved that! If your pup doesn't start
eating soon, you may need to take him to the vet to rule out any physical
issues. HTH!

Marion
