[nagdu] dog uran getting the shoes

Hello:

I have never had issues with Bailey urine or Bailey poop. His positions are as follows:

When standing, I refer to him as rectangular--the ground and his back are parallel and his front and back legs are parallel. When sitting, he is a right triangle, the hypotenuse of which is his back. When he urinates, he becomes a trapezoid. His back is slanted as though he is preparing to sit, but he urinates instead--I love that shape for some reason--it is very geometrically pleasing. I have never gotten urinated upon, nor has he taken it upon himself to target practice with anything nearby. When he poops, he forms the shape of a parabola with a negative leading coefficient and stands still. I have no compunctions about picking up poop--sometimes, on the rare occasions when his poop is the consistency of pudding, he will get some on the underside of his tail. Although I feel a bit exasperated, I have no problems using a soapy rag to clean it up. He does not travel when pooping, so I guess I've lucked out on the whole relieving behavior issue (save the occasional on-route pit stop). I wouldn't discount ever getting another male dog because of relieving issue--maybe those "horror" stories get blown out of proportion. For example, 9 out of 10 people never have issues, but it's the 1 out of 10 from whom you will be hearing the most (just using an example, that isn't a real statistic). I hope this answers some questions.
Oh, about the whole concrete thing: I too went to TSE, where relieving on concrete was the norm. Although Bailey prefers to relieve in grass, I always take him to concrete--our trainers said that if a dog gets used to relieving on grass, it will be much harder to convince them to go back to concrete if they need to for some reason. I don't know how accurate that information is, but I don't want him to get too particular, which may lead to indoor accidents if he develops a strong preference for a surface which happens to be unavailable.

Is this for real? You wouldn't want a male dog because you might get peed on?
How will you handle children?
I'm serious, I don't understand the logic here. Can somebody explain?

Lexia is my first dog. I do not want a male dog for the reasons mentioned in the email.
