[nagdu] 15th anniversary

Today is the 15th anniversary of Echo and my meeting at GDB San Rafael. 
She's not the cute, wiggly pup she was then, but she's a lovely girl in a
different way now.  I can't say she's going strong, but she still does
what she wants to do and she's not ready to go just yet.
When we met, she would roll over at any excuse.  I remember waiting in
line to go in to the dining room and giving Echo a belly rub.  Her trainer
said, when they first started training her, they had to be careful how
they praised her, or she'd flop over in the middle of the sidewalk or
street!  She had a power tail that wagged all the time.  I used to think
it was connected to her heart, and when it stopped, so would she.  But no.
 Her back end has gotten weak, so she can't wag like she used to, but she
still waves her tail a bit.  It's harder to tell when she's happy than it
used to be, but I think she is still happy to be around.
So here's to 15 years of Echotude.
