Hi Julie,

When will you be doing your solo  performance? In the meantime, you can
still continue to work with your dog on a long down stay. The more you
practice the better your dog will get at staying down where you put him or
her. Also you  can always walk on stage with your guide and then have
someone you can trust come and take your dog from you while you perform.
That way you won't get distracted and you won't have to worry about
correcting your dog if him or her gets up or moves around while you're
performing.  Just a thoughtand suggestion for you. Take care.
