I really think that is a tremendously judgmental thing to say. Even knowing what we know of this story, we cannot declare that the school, whichever one it is, is not good. I have had "gut feelings" about a dog, but I didn't firmly express them because I thought the trainers knew best. Dogs, like people, continue to evolve. Sometimes the very worst of us actually improves. Sometimes that happens with dogs. Daniel said in the message, too, that he let pass some of the bumps on doorways and such. Well, though I'm not criticizing, that didn't help the situation either. I have had trainers tell me that if I did this, the dog's transgressions would increase because it got away with doing that. We all do these things sometimes. I mean, we all participate in these situations. The staff made a mistake; that probably wasn't the only one ever made by the school; but to judge that because this has happened the school is not good is not necessarily a fair statement. This is, at least, how I am feeling about it.
