Larry & William,
    Well, technically, I'm from Michigan - Bay City/Essexville! (smile)  I'm 
in Tampa, Florida now! I'll bet there are quite a few guide dog users in the 
Great Wolverine State, we just need to shake them out of the woods! One of 
the challenges is letting guide dog users know that the NFB is not anti 
guide dog, as they are led to believe by those in whose best interest it is 
to say such things and helping them understand why we need them in our 
movement. Michigan has some laws that are not congruent with the ADA that 
need revising and a Michigan NAGDU division is the best option to create 
these changes. Your affiliate leadership is very supportive of organizing a 
division, we just need to get the ball rolling.
    How about we schedule a conference call and spread the word about it 
throughout the state! Pick a date 3 - 4 weeks from now, any day but 
Thursday, and I will help you get it started. If you want to chat about it,
