[nagdu] News broadcast, a boy and his guide dog

I saw that news story as well.  The kid walked with his white cane and 
heeled the yellow Lab with no harness on it.  Yeah, I wondered what program 
that was since people get guide dogs at 16 or 18 and above.  What do you GDB 
grads say about this?  On the news story they called it a guide dog and  a 
"buddy dog" interchangibly.  Are these dogs ones that wash out of the 
regular guide dog program?
