I know, I should learn how to use the toilet, I'll work on it.

Dan,
Well if *you* were pooping in the pet area, I can see why the couple
complained:)

Well, I know this doesn't help you, but just in empathy I must ay it sounds
like a horrible place you're studying.
I hope at least the education they are giving you is worth the
annoyance--smile.

Keep writing, it's good to be able to discuss things with sympathetic people
and some of us have been there or at least in similar situations.

Usually the trouble-maker is someone who has nothing better to do.
When I lived in my apartment, I had a grassy area to relieve Evan my dog at
that time And other people with pet dogs took their four-legged buds there
as well.
There was a retired couple who sadly really had apparently nothing better to
do and their window abutted the area if that's the right term.

So, if they thought I left some number two it was a call to the manager who
actually was a great guy.
I told him that if it was a concern they can show me where the offending
flotsam was and I could dispatch it or better yet, those who were worried
about it could do so seeing as anyone who sees me knows I try.

Also, for some reason if their was some left it was always me who was
blamed, why not any one else, I know that others did not clean up faithfully
as I had stepped in it a few times--smile.

Honestly, I'm not a militant about cleaning up like my list friends, I mean,
I do it but I don't have this zealous attitude some of my guide dog user
friends have about it.

Like it or not, it is harder and some situations it's not safe, such as when
you curb a dog and when cars are whizzing by.

I like the NYC law, honestly, though having been to NYC you'd think their
isn't one, because, though I cleaned up, I got yelled at by people of
dubious mental attributes, such as a man who told me, "your f---ing dog
better not piss on my truck".

Not sure what would have happened if my f---ing dog did so, he scared
me--lol--so I got out of there in a hurry.
.

I've had people complain when I lived in Maryland that dog number one would
deface the curb, or that dog number one would ruin grass and why can't I use
pads or whatever they are called to put under my dog.

One person asked me why I couldn't spread out paper, newspaper I take it.
One person said I should bring a sprinkle bottle with Clorox in it or
something.
That was actually the same helpful person who apparently had a lot of time
on his hands to worry about my dog's effect on the gutter because, as he so
insightfully put it, "you can't see what it looks like".

People just want to make my life difficult. That's all it is. Nothing of
substance, just lots of complaining and the like.
