Jenny,
All buses should have ramps on them, and you could make this as a request to
have them lower it for you.  If your bus does not have a ramp, a complaint
should be filed immediately with the Federal Transportation Administration.

The buses in Rockford have the two steps going up to the back of the bus.
I'm not sure how I'll get me, a dog, and a full shopping cart up there.

Any suggestions?
