Here in Colorado, RTD takes that seriously though as if the ramp doesn't work, then the bus driver has to call in and get the bus traded in for another one with a working ramp.
If not, they will get in trouble with the Disability Rights office here in Denver County and the Legal Aid Center for People with Disabilities or Elderly People.
Since both those Advocacy programs exist, we're able to keep things running smoothly, especially when it comes to public transportation.
