I'm glad to hear thins are working out for you and Dayton. I remember 
you talking about self training, but I can't remember if you had Dayton 
then or not. Is it difficult to train a dog yourself? I know you've 
raised puppies for TSE, so that has to help. Keep up the good work.

It was hard retiring Venita, but I had to do what was best for us both. 
She's much happier now as a pet with some friends I know. There's 2 
young children to run her ragged and they love her dearly.

Valiant is much sturdier and what I needed, so I really believe he's a 
great match. He can be hard headed at times. I got him 2 nice beds; one 
for his crate and one for whatever room I'm in. He decided last night 
that since I had his bed in here and he was in the living room, he'd get 
on the couch. Now I know I need to make sure a bed is in the room he's 
in. I plan on buying another bed, so I don't keep having to drag this 
one from one room to the next.
