Giardia can be contracted in many ways. She probably was treated for it, but
the fact is they can get it anywhere. My previous guide got it not long
after I came home whit her as well. The vet gave me some meds and it took
care of it.

Remember it takes a year for you guys to fully bond. She could be testing
you, but as long as you re-work every error and not let one slide right now,
she should get the hint. If not, I'd call the school, because that can be
dangerous.

My dog also walks slower than I prefer and I just decided to go with it
since he's a great dog otherwise. I'm just now able to encourage him to walk
faster and he'll respond. So, it could take time with you guys as well.
