Hello Hannah- 
I'm sorry you are having to deal witha dog who is ill.  Did Pilot provide
you with your dog's vet records and did they have your dog go through a vet
check before you went home with the dog.  
I know that EE has the dogs checked out by the vet before we leave the
school.

Well, they should have done a second stool sample to see if it was cleared
up and then if not I should think they should have sent you home with
medication. Giardia is a parasite and is probably sometimes hard to get rid
of, and is often contracted in kennels such as the schools' kennels as I
understand it.
