Nicole,

This is all personal preference. Yes we would like to have people think of
the person first instead of the disability, but its all just the way people
write things. Some of us are not bothered by PC, and some of us are. Lets
not jump on others, for how PC or how not PC they are. Some people don't
mind being called blind, others like visually impaired. As someone else said
in another post, it really depends on how the person views themselves in
their own, in their community, in their social network and in the world. PC
is Political correctness

I understand that sometimes people just don't think about it, but please
write "people with disabilities" instead of "disabled people". I know that
this is certainly not how you meant for it to be read, but, when you write
it with the disability in front of the person, it makes it about the
disability instead of the person.
