Nicole,

Yes, I was told the same thing at TSE. The awesome thing is that Emma is a
GSD, so she stresses over the smallest of details in her life. I am saying
that she is a slow eater at home.

At GDB, they tell you that your dog may get stressed out when traveling and 
not eat. Our particular class had all lab and lab/golden crosses. When they 
told us about dogs getting stressed out, they jokingly said that none of us 
would have to worry about it as we all had labs. Lexia is a moderate eater. 
She does not chow down, nor does she eat to slow. To me, it is comparatively

slow because our pet dog practically swallows her food whole. As a matter of

fact, our pet dog cannot eat the dental food that Lexia eats because she 
chokes on it.
