Hi everyone:
 
I have four more sleeps before I head off to train with my new guide dog in
San Rafael, California. I'll be away for three weeks, but if anyone wants to
follow my journey, you can see it at:

Supposedly, you are able to view this page without being a member of
Facebook, but for those who want to have this journey show up on your
newsfeed, "like" the page *grin*. The only drawback, if you are not a member
of FB, you will not be able to leave comments, but if you want to let me
know something, just e-mail me!  I'll be posting pictures *AND* videos to
document everything.
 
I'll be taking my laptop and for those who wish or can't view videos but
would like the pictures, I'll send them via e-mail.
 
I'm nervous and excited, hoping this is another wonderful match just like
Nixon, but I'm reminding myself this will not be the same dog, so will have
to learn to bond with a new friend to walk on my right side.
 
The bad thing about traveling, waking up to catch my flight out at six a.m.
(GROAN!).
