Leone is pretty cute and ahs ana dorable personality.
Vegas is not really far from Palm Springs.  Maybe you can request 
the
puppy raisers email address or phone #?  I keep in close contact 
with
Leone's puppy raiser.  We email back and forth and i send her
pictures.  She came here in July tos ee Leone but Leone was in 
summer
School at GDD for a brush up refresher course.

I was jsut in the hospital for a 3 day run of what is called 
IVIG.  I
ahve Myasthenia Gravis a Neuro/Muscular disease.  the drug helps 
keep
me strong and active.  Leone leads me to the nurses station in 
the
morning when i arrive and goes home with robert  and comes back 
when
I'm ready to be picked up.  He willd rop her leash before he 
reaches
the room and she knows just where I am and she  wags her tail and
shakes her butt and runs up to me all happy like.  I miss her 
too.
then we go for a walk.

    I am happy that you are enjoying your new dog.  As for the
    growling, could it
    be that the dog was being territorial because  he didn't
    recognize the
    people who were  coming in to what he considers to be his

    growling specifically at your mom and uncle? Some dogs do 
tend
   to
    growl and
    bark when they see a person who they don't recognize come in
 to
    what has
    been their home for many months and it has nothing to do with
    protecting a
    specific person.  I hope that you shared this behavior with

    trainers
    because it needs to be dealt with before you go home with 
your
    dog.  Also,
    you have expressed interest in wanting to become a Braille
    teacher and
    working at JBA in Los Angeles.  JBA is a blind adjustment

    where some
    of the students and staff have guide dogs as well as there is
    also a program
    for children who have severe to profound disabilities on the
   same
    campus.
    Therefore your dog has to be under control.  I am not trying
 to
    be mean or
    chastise you, I'm being very honest  with you on this issue
  with
    your dog.  I
    want you to be successful with your new partnership and if
 your
    dog is
    growling at people you won't be.  So please, please discuss
  this
    issue with
    your instructors and allow them to assist you with correcting
    this behavior.
