[nagdu] Learning new routes with a guide dog.

Talking about routes and GPS, does anyone use Navigon or Ariadne on Iphone?
Do these two have virtual mode so I can  learn the route a bit?
If not what iphone GPS app would you recommend to use?
I know this might be off-topic, so please contact me off-list if you'd like.
