[nagdu] Learning new routes with a guide dog.

The iPad is a bit bulky, but it's one thing that does everything. So
I'm only carrying around the iPad instead of a laptop, a GPS, a note
taker, and 5 other things. It works for me since I am a heavier typer
than a talker. *smile*
I also don't use the GPS a lot, but it's nice to have it as an option.

I'd love to have a GPS that would give me turn by turn directions like what sighted drivers get in their cars. I can generally figure out how to navigate my immediate environment with Monty, but having the GPS telling me that I have to travel north another two blocks before I need to turn west would be great. When I walk long stretches I tend to lose count of the blocks. I guess I have a short attention span. *sigh*
