Your welcome. Also, I think it depends on the  individual dog and the dog's
helth as he or she gets older. I think most German Shepherds can work until
their nine or ten years old or older depending on their helth and
willingness to work. How old is Maya? How is her helth? Maya will let you
know when she can't work and guide you anymore. Take care.
