[nagdu] New Member Intro

Hi Tonia,
I am Janice and am blind and profoundly deaf (I use hearing aids and an 
FM system). I am in the process of retiring my first guide dog Destiny 
from the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind (GDF) in Smithtown, NY due 
to epilepsy.  Destiny is a golden lab/flat cross and is all black. I 
wish that I could keep her once I get my new guide but that is not 
possible and I am currently in dealing with the emotional turmoil of 
loosing Destiny.

I am also studying to become a Licensed and Certified Professional 
Counselor. This is my last year of classes then I have an year of 
internship before I can take the licensing exam for the state of Maryland.

I hope that your have many exciting and productive years to come with 
your future guide dog.
